Welcome to the "new and improved" Perspectives

After a longer than anticipated hiatus from blogging, it feels good to be back in the computer chair and filled with thoughts to share.

This new incarnation of Perspectives represents a long-held theory of mine that in life you can have it all, just not all at the same time: Life is a series of journeys, transformations and reinventions. One set of experiences, or setbacks, leads you to the next plateau where you remain until you’re ready to go galloping off looking for the next challenge.

So here we go, launching once more into the blogosphere with conversations about everything from politics to women’s issues to absurdity to "life"…

I hope you’ll come along for the ride. I look forward to hearing from you, learning from you and engaging in the discourse that is at the core of our democracy.

    Thanks Geoff…

Glad to be back and oh how I wish I were well-rested. This hiatus was not a vacation, it was so I could turn my focus to other projects for a while.

I appreciate you being here, after such a long absence.

    Pam

Bill, that’s nice of you to say. It was like withdrawal, leaving, but it sure does feel good to be back.

Okay, Don, that’s a deal. With the political year we have coming up, I’m sure there will be no lack of opportunities. :-)
